I'm rewatching the old episodes of Yugioh in japanese, trying to learn the language. "Ore-sama" is an egotistical way of saying I, I guessed right. "Ou-Sama" Is lord king. "Teme" Is a rude way of saying you esp to enemies. 'shachou' is director. Something weird i noticed is all these words are said by Yami Bakura. (O.O?) "ore no turn." Means my turn. I will learn japanese! I WILL!
Ehem. so onwards.
Thanks to my sister for helping to name the rebel leader (P017)
Aaska. Yes no surnames cause artificials dont need them.
Also originaly i said that silicis was taken over by the artificials. Scratch that.
It was attacked by the artificials as they escaped. And so they stole a fleet of starships from Astrum and escaped ^_^. OK now lets get serious. begin the story. GAME START !
Chapter 1: Graduation
Not everyone could be a ship captian. It took a whole lot of strength, skills and guts to get that far. But that didnt stop every single Cadet at Astrum's millitary academy from trying. Starship's were the lifeblood of the civilizations army. They could be compard to tanks or fighter jets that had been used back during the days before the earth's death. It was the highest position a fresh graduate could get. And every year there were fewer places.Take this year for example. Only 3 places were avalible. And with over a hundred students viying for the position, it didnt get any easier.
This was exactly what Miranda Rose had been waiting for. Every single moment spent in the academy had been for this. She would become a Starship Captian. No matter what it took. Even if those damn instructors thought that she couldnt handle it just cause she was a girl. It took all her self control just to stop herself from punching them straight in the face. Sexist assholes. That was probably the reason why in the entire history of the academy there had'nt been a single female starship captian.
'There's no better time than the present.' She thought as she stood on the raised stage in the center of the auditorim, along with the hundreds of other graduating cadets, identicaly dressed light grey uniforms, that was made up of a knee length coat buttoned all the way to the kneck with the academy insigna embroidered onto it. Each cadet also wore a grey cap. they stood in complete scilence, looking straight ahead of them with serious faces. They all had the same thing on their minds.
Finaly the wait was over. Lieutenant Carson stepped up to the podium.
"I'll make this quick and simple. The names I call It Means you're either a ship captian or Commander (note: Commander is second in charge). The rest of you maggots shut up an stay put."
Miranda smiled. What a charming guy the Lieutenant was. She could just imagine how the ladies reacted towards him.
Carson consulted his list and read out the first name. "Graduating with highest honours at the top of the class, Cadet Zark. Captian." Applause come from the audiance, mostly made up of junior cadets, officers, teachers and some family members. Fom the far right end of the line, a young man with shot cropped light auburn hair stepped out. His face was serious and his dark blue eyes fixed straight ahead.
Miranda resisted the urge to snort. Kale Zark and been the obvious choice for captian form day one. He'd topped the class every year, displaying extraordiany skill in almost every aspect.
History, tactics, weapons, combat ectera. He excelled in every single lession and make everyone else look like total idiots in the process No doubt that mister perfect was probably also the one most likely to be trained for the position of fleet admiral. She wouldnt have minded, if she didnt consider him to be one of the most stuck up jerk offs of the centuary. The guy didnt say a word to anyone if he could help it. The only word he'd said to her in his entire life was "please move. You're stepping on my shoe." Miranda turned her attention back to Carson,
"Cadet Torette. Commander."
More applause this time with a little scattered laugher. The well-built amd dark haired Len Torette stepped out, a wide grin covering his face. There was a sigh of relif from somewhere in the crowd. It was Len's third time doing the final year, making him the oldest graduate. Since he'd been denied the position or Captian or commander consecutively for two years, he'd opted to redo the year again until he got a place on a ship. But they hadnt refused to give him the position without a good reason though. Len was a joker, well known for never ever being serious.
Pranks, practical jokes, the works. No one could rest in peace when he was in the class. But this year he'd finaly got his priorities straight. Or at least, had become more knowladgeble in the ways of not getting caught.
